About the Artist

Tina Van Pelt has studied glass for the past several years at the premier East Coast USA glass studio, Vitrum Studios, in Beltsville, Maryland. Her passion for art glass is evidenced by the fact that when deciding on a name for her company she considered "Neglected Children Glass" or "Like I Really Need More Stuff To Do... Glass".

She enjoys working with several kinds of glass: both American "Bullseye" glass, as well as Effettre Murano Italian glass, and often includes gold foil and other metals into her artwork.

She lives in Riverdale Park, Maryland where she maintains a private studio and showroom. Her three children are not really neglected, but just don't look too closely at the housekeeping when you stop by!
